Superdelic is a relatively new hop variety – its origins date back to 2012 and it's one of the newest varieties from New Zealand. Its name is a combination of the words "super" and "delicious." It quickly caught the attention of brewers around the world, offering a completely different spectrum of aromas than the varieties previously known from this region.
It brings an incredibly juicy, sweet, and multi-layered character to the beer. Ripe mango and citrus dominate the aroma, while some also detect gooseberries, grapes, and subtle notes of kerosene. We also added a generous amount of wheat and oat flakes, giving the beer a smooth and full-bodied texture. A mild and pleasant bitterness complements the overall juiciness of the hop profile.
